چکیده
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect different forms Lentilactobacillus buchneri on in vitro methane production, fermentation characteristics, nutritional quality, and aerobic stability corn silage treated with or without urea. following treatments were applied prior ensiling: (1) no urea treatment LB; (2) treatment+freeze dried (3) treatment+preactivated (4) treatment+no (5) (6) treatment+preactivated. LB at a rate 3 × 108 cfu/kg fresh basis, while 1% basis dry matter. Data measured time points analyzed according completely randomized design, 2 5 factorial arrangement treatments, others arrangement. Preactivated more effective than freeze-dried reducing pH, ammonia nitrogen, cell-wall components, yeast count, carbon dioxide as well increasing lactic acid residual water-soluble carbohydrate (p < 0.0001). A significant reduction ratio observed after 24 h 48 incubation preactivated 0.001). results indicated that combined improved reduced silages.

Increasing harvest maturity of whole-plant corn silage reduces methane emission of lactating dairy cows.
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of increasing maturity of whole-plant corn at harvest on CH4 emissions by dairy cows consuming corn silage (CS) based diets. Whole-plant corn was harvested at a very early [25% dry matter (DM); CS25], early (28% DM; CS28), medium (32% DM; CS32), and late (40% DM; CS40) stage of maturity. In a randomized block design, 28 lactating Holste...

The experiment was completed to evaluate the responses of forage yield and silage quality of dual-purpose corn hybrids to urea fertigation. For this purpose, two studies were conducted each as a split plot experiment based on a randomized complete block design with three replications at two locations in research farms of College of Agriculture, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, i...
متن کاملMethane production, digestion, ruminal fermentation, nitrogen balance, and milk production of cows fed corn silage- or barley silage-based diets.
This study evaluated the effects of replacing barley silage (BS) with corn silage (CS) in dairy cow diets on enteric CH4 emissions, ruminal fermentation characteristics, digestion, milk production, and N balance. Nine ruminally cannulated lactating cows were used in a replicated 3 × 3 Latin square design (32-d period) and fed (ad libitum) a total mixed ration (TMR; forage:concentrate ratio 60:4...

The objective was to compare the effectiveness of combining Lactobacillus buchneri 40788 with three lactic acid bacteria on the fermentation, aerobic stability and nutritive value of corn silage. Freshly chopped whole plant corn was untreated or treated with L. buchneri 40788 paired with Lactobacillus plantarum, Pediococcus acidilactici, or Pediococcus pentosaceus. L. buchneriwas added to achie...
